You can find her dress here! But HUGE shoutout to Mary @mdebunny because I was totally going to use a different, not nearly as amazing dress. She found this gem for me.
Oooo, nonnie. That dream most certainly has something to do with what’s about to happen and I would love to tell you more but…

Just make sure you buckle up because it’s going to be a wild ride.

Provence Rose is absolutely the heir!

Clover: We would make a smoking hot couple.
Altair: [laughs] I think my love life is complicated enough as is. That being said. Clove is my person and I love her very much.
Clover: Some bonds are much deeper than romance!
[both giggle]

Ume: Well that’s… complicated. [sigh] It was a bit world-shattering if I’m totally honest. I had thought about meeting her again for years…. When you want something for so long it… becomes this glamourous, fairy-tale of a scenerio in your head. That is far from what I got… and …I wish it would have happened differently. I wish a lot of things would have happened differently…

Provence: I have good pants!
Ume: [laughing] I think you mean genes.
Provence: Dats what I said!
Grown-up Provence is pretty cute too.

Altair: What? You mean like… am I pregnant? Sorry to disappoint you, but I’m definitely not having any babies right now.

I am so late. I have been holding on to these for a while. Thank you. You two make my day constantly. 💖 💖 💖

Ooo, name facts! Okay, let’s talk Pantomime Raven. Because you know what, he may be an asshole, but ugh, I love him so much.
Pantomime is a type of wordless theatrical performance. In Roman times it was dramatic and emotional, but in modern days it’s much more slapstick type comedy. During The Fall™ where the vampire gained control of Millhaven he was a mercenary known as the Silent Reaper. He rarely kills outright, preferring to take out his targets by slowly manipulating their thoughts and having them do it themselves. So get it, he “performs” wordlessly.
His last name, Raven, is a Poe reference. Obviously, “The Raven,” but really this particular, “Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before.”
A lot of this comes over into how I designed his appearance as well. The skeleton painting on his face and hat are an homage to the performance art he was named after.

Mr. Ume Hanakatoba’s name was actually created as a way to foreshadow. In Japan, Hankatoba is the word for the art of giving flowers meaning. Ume is a type of plum/apricot and the blossom of it means “to ward off evil.”
