Welcome to Group Date #1 – Roller Disco

Clover is pretty unsure of the whole thing.

Clover: I’m sorry this is so late…

Lucas: That’s okay. You know what they say? Good things come to those who wait.

Clover: [chuckles] You’re sweet.

Lucas: Mostly nature, scenery. I want to take pictures from all over the world someday.

Clover: That’s really cool. I bet you get to see a lot of really neat places.

Lucas: Oh, you have no idea! Just a few weeks ago I was in the ruins outside of Walnutburg.There’s this break in the wall that the sun shines through that is just breathtaking. It’s one of the best photos I’ve ever taken.

Clover: I bet it was beautiful! I’ve always wanted to go there. Do you have any pictures you can show me?

Clover: [nervously eyes Fox out of the corner of her eye for 20 sims minutes]

Fox: [completely oblivious]

Clover: [finally works up the nerve to talk to him… sits on the other side of the room]

Fox: [completely oblivious still]

Clover: So…a musician. What kind of music do you play?

Fox: [jumps] WHOA! Where did you come from?

Clover: …[mumbles to self] Oh thank berry he didn’t notice me awkwardly staring at him forever…

[Clover and Lubomir kiss each other’s cheeks in greeting]

Lubomir: It was nice chatting with you, mon chou, we will have to do this again.

[Lubomir takes off towards gym]

Clover: Hey, wait! We haven’t even gotten to– [sighs] he’s already gone. Did he just call me his sweet bun…

Vivid: Hey, are you okay? You look a little stunned.

Clover: Well, I was supposed to be on my speed date with Lubomir but… I guess he had more important things to do.

Vivid: Looks like his loss is my gain. Mind if I cut in?

Clover: Not at all. But.. do you mind if I we get something to eat? I’m starting to feel a bit hangry.

Vivid: I don’t mind one bit.

[literally talked and ate sandwiches for 2 sim hours

Duke: You have to see this video of this kitten watching itself in the mirror.

Clover: Ah! It really thinks there is another cat! What a silly little kitten.

[hysterical laughing]

Ember: and you would you believe that sometimes she wears plaid and polka dots in the same outfit?

Clover: [gasp] NO! She doesn’t?!

Ember: I swear it’s Mango’s signature look at the point.

Clover: That’s horrifying!

Clover: [awkardly] So…uh… why don’t you tell me a bit about yourself?

Granite: I’m a big lover of animals. I sometimes even rescue wildlife.

Clover: That’s really amazing, actually.

Granite: Well… it was really just once. A raccoon. It may not have need rescuing so much as… I thought it was cute and cuddly.

Clover: A racoon, huh? They are nature’s alley cat. What was that like?

Granite: Uh… he didn’t like to be hugged as much as I like hugging him.

Clover: So… he clawed your face up and you had to release it back into the wild?

Granite: Pretty much..

She slipped in the mud on her way to the speed dates… So I’m sure this will go quite well.

Altair: Welcome gentleman, and thank you so much for giving my dear friend the change to find love. She really needs all the help she can get.

Clover: Altair, I swear to berry–

Altair: [clears throat] We’re going to give you the night to settle in, but tomorrow we’ll jump straight into it! First, up will be a chance for each of you to get to know my favorite gal a little better with speed dating! Then we will all be hitting The Roller Rink for a group date. So sleep well, gentleman, and I wish you all good luck!

Clover: [hushed voice] Altairpleasedon’tyouleavemeIcan’tdothis–

[Altair elbows her in the side]
