If you don’t mind me asking is flora supposed to be indigenous? Just from the way you say she has the last dream walking trait from her band.

Hey Nonnie! Yes, she is. Actually, she and Pantomime both are. Their tribes are both nonexistent in the real world, but I will say, that like George R.R. Martin did with his Dothraki, I certainly am drawing inspiration from a mix of different tribes from around the world. 🙂

Pantomime Raven

#1 – I know I’ve said this before but Pantomime was a mercenary during “The Fall”. Whatever side he was on depended on the person that was willing to pay the highest price. 

#2 –  Really, he couldn’t care what is going on in the rest of the world. He keeps to himself in his cottage deep in the woods. It’s quiet and spooky and people don’t like to go there. He likes it that way.

#3 – Truth be told, he actually enjoys Virtue’s company. He would never, ever, ever admit that out loud. Not that he has to. She knows is and tries to be as insufferable as possible about it. 

#4 – He has the worst temper imaginable. We absolutely get to see that and trust me, you don’t want to ever be on the receiving end of it.

#5 – Will swear up and down that he retired and really, he is unless Virtue asks him to do something. He’ll say no at first, but he always gives into her.

 Thanks for asking Kit!!! You have no idea how tempted I was to do Sirius as the character for you, but I will play nice because I want to talk about this QUEEN. Queen of what you ask? My heart. I adore her.

Virtue Piccolo

#1 – One of our older characters in Flora Wren, she is actually one half of a powerful sorcerous that fought Eilif’s army during “The Fall.” After their eventual defeat, Eilif had her split in two. One half is Virtue the other is Twilight.

#2 – Neither of which remembers events prior to “The Fall” or each other’s existence.

#3 – Virtue believes in keeping the scales balanced and is one of our more “neutral” parties. While you could technically say she is currently on the side of The Rebellion if they were to gain too much power that would change.

#4 – Above anyone else, Virtue puts her trust and faith in Pantomime Raven. He is the one and only person she is willing to rely on completely… much to his annoyance. 

#5 – While powerful, Virtue does not use any type of offensive magic. Instead, she deals more with manipulation of time and space. This includes being able to see small periods into the future, or as she did at the beginning of the story, putting people in “time loops”.

Prose Wellington – Our Resident Werewolf

#1 – Prose is one of the leading members of the rebellion against the vampires.

#2 – He hasn’t always been a werewolf. In fact, the whole thing was a bit accidentally. He was captured by one of the Council Members, Shade Obsidian, and quite literally thrown to the wolves. He was able to overpower them and get away, but not before he was turned into one of their own.

#3 – Before the werewolf incident he was a blacksmith.

#4 – Where is he now? He’s the bouncer for our favorite supernatural bar, The Broadmire. 

#5 – Even though he works at a bar the only drink you’ll ever catch him ordering is water. No juice for this wolf. ❤

Now Entering Millhaven

Starting tomorrow we are entering a long queue of “The Ghosts of Flora Wren”.  Each day we will have a few character introduction or some lore, there is so much lore, plus 4-5 story posts. It should be running for the next two weeks! I am also changing how I write my Flora Wren posts. It will be in the same style as my BPR… because…honestly, it’s just a little bit easier for me to do.

For the future, I plan on rotating my stories on a semi-weekly basis. Here is the order I plan on doing:
– The Ghosts of Flora Wren (2 weeks)
– The Torches (1 week)
– Nova Legacy (2 weeks)
– I Want to be a Simillionare (1 week)
