Flora: YES! I did it.

Pantomime: All of the furniture is still exactly how it was.

Flora: Is that bad?

Pantomime: If you’re trying to change someone’s perspective on reality these kinds of details can break the illusion you are trying to create.

Flora: Way to rain on my parade grumpy pants.

Pantomime: Keep practicing. I’m going to go check in with Blaze.

Flora: So what should I do?

Pantomime: Change the floor to water.

Flora: Excuse me? I don’t exactly feel like going for a swim.

Pantomime: Don’t worry. It’s a dream, right? Both you and I can change how the world around is perceived her. The water can appear to exist without altering. anything around it.

Flora: So… we don’t have to get wet then?

Pantomime: …that’s what I just said, isn’t it?

Pantomime: This looks like a good spot.

Flora: Uhh… for what exactly?

Pantomime: We’re going to work on you altering this realm.

Flora: It’s a dream realm, right? Shouldn’t that be easy?

Pantomime: Inside of your own dreams, yes. When you’re in someone else’s realm it’s not quite as simple. Everyone has their own perceptions of life that can influence how the realm reacts to different changes.

Flora: Makes sense.

Flora: Why is this place so creepy? [cringes] … and filthy for that matter.

Pantomime: The best illusions are created from memory.

Flora: This… is your memory?

Pantomime: It’s the house I grew up in.

Flora: Gross. I’m sorry you had to live like this.

Pantomime: Don’t be stupid. It wasn’t always like this. This was after… everything. It helps remind me of the price I paid for leaving them all behind.

Flora: That’s… depressing.

Pantomime: The world’s depressing, Flora.

Flora: Inside of the murder house? No thank you.

Pantomime: For fuck’s sakes Flora. I don’t want to be here doing this any more than you do so if you continue to make it more unpleasant than it already is I really will murder you.

Flora: Okay, okay. I’ll go into your stupid house of horrors.

Flora: You keep saying that but you never explain yourself.

Pantomime: It helps your mind to become focused.

Flora: I can’t focus out here! It’s creepy and scratchy and I’m still pretty sure someone is going to jump out of the bushes and slice our throats.

Pantomime: You’re utterly insufferable, you know that?

Flora: So you keep telling me.

Pantomime: Fine. No more meditation. Let’s work on something inside instead.
