Altair: What has this world come to? My boyfriend and my daughter ganging up on me. Such a tragic affair. [laughing]

Sirius: It will be good for you.

Altair: Hey! For you maybe. You two just harassed me the whole night.

Sirius: It’s for your own good.

Altair: Okay, okay. Let’s not start this again. Harassment aside…  I guess tonight did go nicely. You two seemed to get along.

Sirius: I think that went well.

Altair: You call that “well”?

Sirius: [laughs] It’s refreshing to have someone else on my side around.

Altair: What do you mean by that? I’m on your side. [pouting]

Sirius: I mean you’re stubborn enough for two people and Provence helps balance the scales.

Provence: [whispering] You’re on my side aren’t you?

Sirius: [whispering back] One-hundred and ten percent.

Provence: So you can make it happen?

Sirius: It may be tricky. If there’s one thing I’ve learned about your mom these past few years, it’s that she won’t let things happen until she’s ready. No convincing her otherwise.

Provence: But if we both continue to bug her–

Altair: For berry’s sake I’m sitting right here!

Altair: Oh berry… please… you don’t have to answer that.

Provence: I just want to know if I’m getting any siblings anytime soon.

Altair: Provence, please.

Provence: It’s time to face the music, mom. I’m more than halfway to 10. I need a sister before I get into the double digits.

Altair: You know it doesn’t work like that, right?

Provence: You know you’re not getting any younger, right?
