Foxglove: Well at the wedding, Andromeda’s fiance showed up.
Altair: Ooh, drama alert.
Foxglove: He ended up in a fight to the death with Perseus. The latter winning, of course.
Altair: Wouldn’t have expected any different.
Foxglove: Then when Perseus and Andromeda died Athen placed both of them in the sky.
Altair: Sounds like she got a lucky break.
Foxglove: Unluckily for Perseus when they returned, he found out the Andromeda was already engaged to another.
Altair: That’s unfortunate.
Foxglove: He married her anyways.
Altair: Of course he did.
Foxglove: Do you see that cluster of stars over there? That’s Andromeda.
Altair: Andromeda?
Foxglove: She was the daughter of King Cepheus and Queen Cassiopeia, and very beautiful.
Altair: How did she end up in the stars?
Foxglove: The queen bragged about Andromeda’s beauty to the point it upset Posiden. He had made the Nereids and the queen claimed that she was just as beautiful, if not more.
Foxglove: What kind of a story are you looking for?
Altair: Hmm, a love story.
Foxglove: [chuckles] Of course you are.
Altair: [disgruntled] Oh, shush, you.
Altair: Alright Mr. Star Expert. Tell me a story.
From here on out, Nova is getting a pretty strict “Rated R” rating. While there has been some heavy content so far, I tried, for the most part, to keep the story on the PG-13 side. But… the deeper we get into the secrets of the Nova and Hanakatoba families, and the more our white friend above shows up, the harder it is to keep it that way.
I will be tagging posts that need it with “tw: violence”, “tw: blood”, or “nsfw” accordingly.
The next scene is titled “The Chop Shop” so buckle up. It’s actually not as bad as the title makes it sound…
