Moodboard Monday!

Can you believe it’s June already???
Only 18 days until Seasons…

And our theme for this Monday is….

Yes, the world of the sims is full of fantasy and lore some of which may include CC you’ve installed or just your sims family history that you’ve created. Or any sort of fantastical thing you’ve created in the game that’s unique to you or the world of your sims! 

You can include things such as:

  • Fantastical Places
  • Fantastical creatures
    • Vamps
    • Mermaids
    • Werewolves
    • Aliens
    • Fairies
    • Pirates
    • Princesses 
    • Fantastical simselves
    • Etc
  • World Lore
    • Berry Lore
  • Something you created for your story
    • A certain disease
    • A certain country/city/place
    • A movie/book/made up franchise
  • Fantasy you are inspired by
  • Fantasy you wish you could have in game (dragons)

And ANYTHING else you can think of! It doesn’t just have to be fantastical. Whatever is uniquely you for your story that you made you can include. What makes this world your world! Remember following the theme is never necessary, just something to get you started!

Tag it with “sims moodboard” or “moodboard Monday” so we can all see. And a reminder to those who don’t want to see to block those tags from your dash!

What is your favorite season?  

Fall! I love the colors and I am a basic bitch. Gimme those Pumpkin Spice Lattes. 

Do you prefer warmer or colder weather?  

Warmer. 

What do you do on a rainy day?

Drink tea and read! Rain always gets me in the mood for reading for some reason.

How is a typical winter where you live? Cold or not?

Wait? We have winter? I live in the desert. This last year we didn’t even get snow and the lowest it got was in the mid-20s. 

Have you ever experienced snow?

Yes! In spite of my previous answer, we usually get a day or two a year of good, sticking snow. I also have family that lives in Utah and for some reason, we always end up visiting them during winter…

What is your go-to food in the summer?

All of the salads!! Since it’s berry season I love all of the salads with blueberries and strawberries on them. My all-time favorite salad though is smoked tuna with spicy Italian dressing. Nom Nom Nom Nom Nom.

What is your favorite ice cream flavor?

Pistachio! ❤

Coffee, tea or cocoa? EVERYTHING?

Mostly coffee!!! I drink coffee… a lot! I do enjoy a good earl grey though!

Describe your favorite seasonal clothing item!

Rompers! I love rompers. They are so cute but so awful to wear.  😭

What is your favorite Holiday?

Halloween! I always dress up in themes with my husband and children so it’s really fun! Last year we were all Naruto characters.

If you were a season, which one would you be?

Fall? Most likely.

This week’s theme is inspiration. So here is my one and only Moodboard with a short (kind of) explination.

I don’t know if you all know this, but I am still a nooboo here on Simblr. I just started my blog back at the end of March. While I had done some CC shopping before, I really hadn’t gotten too deep in to the Simblr world aside from that. Well, Feburary-March were really rough months for me, for reasons I won’t get into here, and I really needed to escape. I knew stories exisisted on Tumblr, so I browsed around for one to read. I stumbled upon Caitlin’s blog and absolutely fell in love. I binge read her entire story in one day, because omg it’s absolutely amazing. She is the whole reason why I ever decided to join Simblr myself.

I have since then been able to get to know her. Although it has only been brief, I can easily say that Caitlin is one of the sweetest and funniest people I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. She works so hard at everything she does and is, honestly, just amazing! I’m so glad I stumbled upon your blog and I’m so glad I have gotten to know you! 🙂
