Pantomime: It’s important.

Blaze: Fine. Aquila, watch the bar for a little, will ya?

Aquila: Huh? Why me?

Blaze: Consider it punishment for me having to sit through your terrible jokes.

Flora: Wait? You’re just going to leave me here?

Pantomime: You have Virtue with you, don’t you?

Flora: I guess so….

Virtue Piccolo

Some may call her idealistic, but Virtue dreams of a world that is balanced. She doesn’t feel like any single group should hold all the power in the world. While she would consider herself more neutral, her current alliances fall with The Rebellion. She’ll do what she can to help aid their cause, so long as it still aligns with her own vision.

Aquila: So the bartender looks at them and says, “What will it be?” The first vampire orders a mug of blood. So does the second one. The bartender turns to the third one and he says, “I’ll have a mug of plasma.” Then the bartender says, “Two bloods and a blood light coming right up.”

Crickets.

Blaze: That was awful…

Flora: Uh… yeah. It’s Flora.

Virtue: How much from the night that you were attacked to do you remember, Flora?

Flora: Not a whole lot… everything is still kind of fuzzy.

Virtue: Well… you did something, something extraordinary, but I’m afraid that, that very thing is going to put you in danger.

Flora: What are you even talking about?

Virtue: I’ll tell you more, but we have to get you to somewhere safe.

Flora: I thought you said this was somewhere safe?

Virtue: It is, for short periods… but it’s a place that they will look for you.

Flora: Who? You really aren’t making any sense.

Virtue: The vampires. I’ll tell you more along the way, but it’s best if we get going.

Panontime: Please tell me we aren’t taking her to who I think we are…

Flora: Who are you to tell me where I can and can’t go?

Pantomime: Look, missy, last time we met you were a bit messed up so I forgive you for your attitude that time, but if I hadn’t stepped in you would have died in that alley.

Virtue: [giggling] Oh boy… this is going to be rough.

Pantomime and Flora: What’s so funny?

Virtue: You two. [more laughing] She’s quite the spitfire, isn’t she? She kind of reminds me of you before you turned into a sour old man.

Pantomime: [huffing] As if I’ve ever been so insufferable…

Virtue: [amused humming] Anyways… you got a name, hun?

Rune Lorcan

Turned by the Grand Master Vampire, Eilif Puck, Rune was too compassionate for her liking. He refused to drink from the living, even if it was offered to him, opting instead to find through other means. It was for this very reason that Eilif abandoned him to fend for himself. Even though he has now been a vampire for over forty years, Rune still longs for the days he was human and prefers the simpler things in life.
